My
Personal God Experience
Do you believe in near death experiences? I
do, because I believe I experienced it. One night while I was lying in bed watching television, everything went dark. I don’t
mean the power in my home went out, I mean everything within me went dark. My mind seemed to still be operating, because I
could hear things (although I could not make out the sounds). The worst part of it was that I was unable to move any part
of my body. I couldn’t even tell if I was breathing anymore. My entire body was paralyzed. I could not move my arms
or legs and I attempted to open my eyes, but I could not. I tried to speak, but I couldn’t move my lips. After what
felt like an eternity, but was more like 60 seconds, everything came back. I remember opening my eyes, taking a very deep
breath and letting it out. I was very surprised that I had remained calm during that time. I did not panic, because I felt
a deeper presence with me. I will admit that I was worried about falling asleep after that, thinking that if I did, I would
not wake up. I tried to stay up all night, but eventually I fell asleep. The next morning when I did get up, I thanked God
and Jesus for another day. However, I did have questions about what had happened. So I asked God why that happened to me?
It was then that God answered me and said: “I did that to show you that life is fragile.
Anything can happen at anytime and you have to make the most of the time you’ve been given. Life is whatever you choose
it to be. I am here to do whatever it takes to make your life successful, but what are you willing to do?”
I am here to tell all of you, that life is fragile. It was my faith in God that kept
me calm through that entire situation. That’s why it is so important for you to live a full life and have no regrets.
